Preamble

The protection of personal and other sensitive data provided by our guests is an important concern of Hotel and Restaurant Sonne Fex (hereinafter referred to as "HSF"). These privacy provisions ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

1 Personal Data

a) Personal Data

Personal data refers to information that reveals or may reveal the identity of the customer. "HSF" adheres to the principle of data minimisation. The collection of personal data is avoided as far as possible.

b) Use of Data

Personal data is used exclusively for the establishment, content, execution or processing of the contractual relationship. It is generally not passed on to third parties. Personal data is only used to the extent necessary, in particular for managing the customer account, or if "HSF" is legally obliged or required by court order to do so, or where necessary to lawfully prevent misuse contrary to the General Terms and Conditions.

c) Right to Object

The customer may object to the storage of their personal data at any time. Excluded from this are data that must be retained for the purposes of processing the contractual relationship.

d) Right of Access Upon written request

"HSF" will inform the customer about the data stored relating to their person.

e) Right to Rectification, Erasure and Restriction

The customer has the right at any time to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of incorrect personal data. The exercise of this right is free of charge and can be requested by email or telephone.

2 Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data you provide to send it to you. Your email address will be used for our own marketing purposes until you unsubscribe. You may withdraw this consent at any time with future effect by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

3 Usage and Registration Data

Usage, evaluation and registration data are collected, processed and used to the extent necessary for the operation of the website. Customer data and IP addresses are recorded in log files with date and time, and used and stored for statistical analysis of the website. Usage and registration data are not combined with personal data.

4 Data Security

a) Data Security

All data on www.hotel-sonne-fex.ch is protected against loss, destruction, access, modification and dissemination through technical and organisational measures.

"HSF" does not, however, assume any liability for the destruction or damage of data.

b) Cookies and Consent Management

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. d) Use of Facebook and Instagram Plugins

This website uses plugins from the social network facebook.com, operated by Meta Platforms Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. When you visit pages on our website that contain such a plugin, a connection is established with Facebook or Instagram servers, and the plugin is displayed on the page via a notification to your browser. This transmits to the Facebook server which pages of our website you have visited. If you are logged in to Facebook as a member, Facebook associates this information with your personal Facebook account. When you use plugin functions (e.g. clicking the "Like" button, posting a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account. 5 Booking System

For online reservations, we use MEWS Systems, a third-party hotel management software provider. During the booking process, the following data is transmitted to and stored on MEWS servers: name, address, email address, phone number, stay details and payment information.
